The Expo Center site is not currently providing COVID-19 vaccinations, but may do so in the coming months as the availability of vaccine increases in Oregon. The Hillsboro site now provides COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment for eligible groups, in addition to community vaccination sites at the convention center and in the Red Economy Parking Lot at Portland International Airport. New York State added new slots for the one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine at the Expo Center starting Thursday and continuing through April 13 but those appointments have been booked. The site was one of two low-barrier COVID-19 community testing locations operated by OHSU Health, with the other operating during the same hours in a parking lot near Hillsboro Stadium, 4450 N.E. The first two hours are reserved for patients of OHSU Health, including Hillsboro Medical Center and Portland Adventist Health, household members of OHSU employees and first responders.
